Castor, with Patchouli & Bergamot

Castor, the twin the Pollux, is located in the constellation Gemini. Castor is named after one of the twins born to Zeus and Leda according to Roman Mythology. Castor is unique in that it looks like a single star to the naked eye, but what you actually are seeing are three stars from it's six star system. I named my most popular blend of patchouli and Bergamot after Castor because the scents just mix together to create a wonderful tone. People cannot get enough of this special and unique blend!

Scent notes

Patchouli, lightly scented with bergamot. This gives the soap a nice, earthy and citrus smell that doesn't overwhelm you.

All of my soaps are lovingly crafted in my home. The lard comes from my own heritage breed pastured pigs and I render the fat down in house. After that, I carefully craft small batches of soap that are cured for a minimum of four weeks.

We recommend you test soap on a small patch of your skin if you're new to handmade soap. Let soap dry completely between uses to prolong the life of your bar.
